He’s always been my favourite adventure partner!
I’m typically the one who comes up with the crazy adventure ideas and half way through I start thinking “okay that was a bit ambitious... maybe we should stop”. Marco has always been the one who keeps me going.
This past week I wanted to do the hike to Lindeman Lake. Now I use the word hike rather loosely... it was more of rock climbing. There was a rock you needs to climb over almost every other step. Half way through I wanted to quit... Marco wouldn’t let me.
And it got me thinking that some times the adventures of life look exciting and when your in them you start to second guess yourself. All you need is to remember that it’s all worth it. The promise of the teal blue glacier lake and Marcos persistence kept me going.
Im so thankful for him. 🖤
• please keep looking... not for a person. But for your passion, your love, your courage, your goals, your dreams, your happiness, YOURSELF. You need yourself to become your own. 🙏🏻🥂#runyoncanyon#selflove#hike#adventure
My favorite part about hiking isn't finding the destination. It's actually right before turning around and starting to head back when you pause in silence and appreciate what's in front of you. You start thinking about how fortunate you are to be able to hike, travel, run, jump, climb, and the list goes on. I could have been paralyzed (or worse} after fracturing my occipital bone, yet I'm able to find these hidden gems embedded in the mountains. For this I am so incredibly grateful.
Been out in nature brings me so much joy and spending that time with friends is even better
Yesterday’s adventures, was spent out here soaking in all the good vibes, walking sitting, rock jumping and talking.
