Can't believe summer has flown by so quickly. On Thursday we'll be road tripping down 395 to the Eastern Sierras for Labor Day and I'm pretty dang excited. If you've ever been and have some recommendations HMU ✌️
The world is yours to explore... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Part of the Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor, along a winding country back road, about an hour southwest from Boston lies the small town of Northbridge and Lookout Rock. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The overlook, roughly a 15-minute short and easy hike via the Lookout Point Trail, has a beautiful view of the historic Blackstone River Valley and would be an awesome spot to view, enjoy, and photograph the fall foliage. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We took a slightly longer trail, the Rice Pond to Lookout Rock Trail, to the summit to maximize our time here. Definitely worth the extra steps, have to get my 10,000/day so why not take a long walk in the woods. Anyone else like getting their steps in this way? 🙋♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Unfortunately, the rocks were covered in graffiti which I could use Photoshop to edit out or readjust my angles to where you can’t see them, but I don’t like to alter an area from the way it really is. We live in an imperfect world. 🤷♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But you decide. Which photo do you like better?🤔 Swipe to see all the graffiti ➡➡➡ It takes a lot of time and work to eliminate all the paint from the rocks so I only did a quick edit to illustrate the concept. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Happy Monday y'all. It’s a beautiful and unique world. Go out an explore someplace new. As always, let's take #allthesideroads together and #enjoytheview along the way. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

We started the day with a quick but extremely hot hike to the top of Elephant Mountain to get a good view of Taipei! Taipei has got everything you’d ever need - the people are super friendly, it's surrounded by amazing nature and is really well connected to the rest of the country and the world. Oh, and they have got boba tea in every corner. What else could you ask for?! The skyscraper in the back is Taipei 101, the 10th tallest building in the world, and one of the coolest buildings we’ve ever seen. Taipei is a great spot for anyone into futuristic architecture.
Wouldn’t mind returning here again... I’m back in the office after taking a few weeks off for the move into @themindfulmaison. New posts are coming this week and there are so many exciting destinations this fall that I can’t wait to share with you! #btincalifornia
• YOUBIKE •
There are 3 convenient ways to explore Taipei city if I go around. Metro, Bus and Youbike. This time I chose Youbike for my exploration, It's easy and flexible to go through every interesting street. Taipei has the perfect bike path, so It's great to do some exercises and enjoy the beauty of the city. But always safety first, otherwise it would be like me. 😂 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Which moving way do you prefer to explore the city during travel? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Boca do Inferno | 📍Cascais, Portugal 🇵🇹 •
This is one of the main attractions in Cascais. It’s quite mesmerizing watching the waves flow through the rocks, and the walk from town is really nice on sunny days.
I’ll be sharing more from Cascais very soon, including a weekend itinerary! | #traveldazeportugal
A short little hike after a nap in the parking lot
The main challenge I had during my solo road trip around Iceland this summer is to manage my sleep time. I was there in the beginning of June and therefore I had the opportunity to experience the midnight sun. The sky was literally pretty bright for 24hrs. When I pulled into the first campground on my first night, I was rushing because I came a little after 11pm and the receptionist was scheduled to close at 11pm. I couldn’t believe it was already 11pm 😅. When I was cooking dinner (or was this breakfast because turned out it was after midnight in the AM already?), my neighbor in the campsite slept in their tent ⛺️ and I heard some snoring. I remember thinking 💭 oh they went to bed early 😂 (it was probably around 12:30am), but the sky was still pretty bright.
I’m an early bird. I prefer to go to bed early then wake up early. It was hard to do this in Iceland because all I wanted to do was to explore all day and night. So, here I was driving west from southeast Iceland and I felt very sleepy 😴. I turned the volume of my radio up and started singing out loud, I cracked my window and gave myself some fresh air, and I also tapped my hand on my cheeks and legs to keep me awake. None of them really worked, so I decided to pull over at a scenic lookout and parked my car in the parking lot. I covered my valuables, lay my seat down to almost flat, cracked my window for air circulation, and put my eye mask on. It didn’t take me long to fall asleep 💤 ☽
Life is too short not to live it to the fullest. In this case, my life is too long to live it foolishly. I didn’t have anywhere I needed to be. I had all the time in the world. Making a quick stop (although I think I ended up napping for more than an hour 😬) was the right decision than risking myself and other people. It’s always better to be safe than sorry! Btw, what’s that in my pocket? Car keys 🔑 ☽
