Summer, come back🌞
Is there a house or not?
Imagine yourself dreaming about building your own house. You definitely want one, right? Means, when you are actually ready, you have a plan, location, you hired architects and designers. After all the discussions and considerations you start to prepare basement. But do you already have a house? No. Though you ARE on your way.
When you're done with basement, you build"skeleton" - house frame. Yes, now it looks more like a house, though still it's not. However who can blame you in doing nothing?
Even when rooftop is done you need to make overhaul inside, to make it cosy.
How big is this building? How many floors are there? Windows, doors, wallpapers. Finally after months or more you can call this place home and state that you built your own house. Mate, now you have what to be proud of.
What happens if you try to start your house from roof? Or apply wallpapers on bare unprepared walls, or put bricks without concrete? Rhetorically.
What I'm trying to say by that. Replace these engineer terms to relationship and mainly love. We expect from our relationship to be perfect immediately and become disappointed if it doesn't look like in romantic movies. We expect to fall in love immediately, and if it doesn't happen - we go away. We think that we either love someone or not. That is something what makes you fly and be over the moon.
Love - is a decision. It's your house. When you start it, you don't have even a door, but a plan. You don't have true love when you start your relationship, but you have a plan and foundation. If a storm begins you have a basement. When your first emotions cool down you have your foundation. Only after certain time and effort you can claim you built your LOVE
I am no longer available for things that make me feel like shit.
Unavailable, to what's draining.
Unavailable, to what's not for me.
Unavailable, to what's toxic.
Unavailable, to negativity.
Unavailable, to dead cycles.
Unavailable, to what doesn't sit well.
Unavailable, to what doesn't value me.
Unavailable, to unchanged behavior. .
