Best seats in the house tonight, where you can watch every performer’s face and the lilt in their bodies with the rousing music. Magnificent conducting by @kahchun_music, and the Reinecke flute piece featuring @karlheinz_schuetz. I’ve also been dying to watch a Rachmainoff in person for some time. Good to chat with DPM Heng, SMS Sim, and the people behind SSO’s evolution. Thank you @pt1226 for the invite! 🌺
Times like this I get lost for words.
Sounds melt away and thoughts empty out my head like a spilled glass of water. I don’t move because my mere presence feels like a disruption to this Nirvana. Eventually I remember to breathe. The cold flushes back through my air passages. Then a quick photograph for proof that I hadn’t imagined this.
When you travel, are you more of a country type or a city type?
I find myself to be a little of both. With cheap flights to amazing cities in Europe super easy to find, I'm always taking another little city break. But I also love escaping to the countryside and to pure nature. To see little towns untouched by tourism and get back in touch with the land.
In truth, I just love to explore wherever I can. What about you?
I took this photo one year ago today near the peak of Mount Mansfield, the highest mountain in Vermont. After a surprising cold front swept through the Northeast, the alpine region was left covered in snow and ice in mid October. Meanwhile, down below, temperatures reached 60 degrees on this day. This photo is one of a handful available as prints over in my shop on @society6! Check em out at the link in my bio.
There's a quite simple view, but sometimes I think it would be good to find myself in such calm place as this💙 Иногда хочется оказаться не в каких-то головокружительно красивых местах, а просто посидеть на каком-нибудь тихом озерке)
Here we go again... this lovely house stands in the botanical garden of Tblisi. This series was taken from a hill between the garden and the city. In general it’s an amazing view you get on top of it. I was pretty lucky to get a nice sunset and a soft light. Otherwise in whole Tblisi is a relatively high humidity which look incredible between the Caucasus mountains.
Hope ya enjoy ✌️
With all the mental challenges of work, I occupied myself with simple pleasures: gardening, painting, baking, cycling, surfing, walking dogs, catching up with friends or simply spending time in contemplation. They help me to overcome and accept the pain. But while pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. We have a choice in how we view our circumstances. Using a gardening metaphor, our experience of life depends on which seeds we choose to water.
