In relation to my previous post - I wanted to ask a favour and I understand it might not be easy, so I don’t ask you lightly. I would like to write your birth story. The story that you may be holding in, or avoiding. I would like to hold space for you, so you can release it, with all your emotions, your feelings, all of it. I know it hurts. I know it’s hard, I’ve been there. My birth story is not the birth I envisioned, and the care I received isn’t what I was expecting. If you would like to share your story with me, I would then like to add it to a space with other women’s stories who may have had a similar experience to you. You are not alone. You do not need to stay quiet to make other people feel comfortable. You do not need to tell it any other way than you feel comfortable, but I would really love it if you would tell me. Please. I think it’s really important that we have a place where stories about birth are shared, and written with love & compassion. I am specifically after birth stories where you feel like you may experienced care similar to my last post - please have a look - I’ll be creating my website soon, and I would love you to be a part of it. If you’ve had enough of sugar coating what women experience on a daily basis by ‘care’ providers - please - let me know. I want to be, and need to be, part of the change. Please DM me if you feel like you might be interested. BIG love 💜
